Assistance to churches, businesses, para-church ministries

CMS offers speakers to present the benefits of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) utilizing the principles of scripture. Presentations can be single events or multiple training sessions. These sessions can be tailored to your situation and may include training in skills including formal mediation.

For businesses this training may provide important skills for management (employment disputes, customer relations, etc.) For churches these skills in conflict resolution and conflict coaching are essential for those in counseling roles and for senior leaders anticipating cases of church discipline.

Broad training events can equip members/employees to diffuse potentially troublesome issues while they are small without involving leadership intervention. Organization-wide adoption of ADR can improve morale.

CMS also has formal and informal presentations for churches seeking to implement their own Reconciliation Ministries. These are primarily directed to Elders/Deacons/Pastors. This service provides the documentation to implement policies and procedures including mediation clauses for contracts and wording for membership consent to conciliation.
