Who we are

Jim and Dana Johnson are sinners saved by grace and servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are the owners of Christian Mediation Services LLC and candidates to be credentialed as Certified Christian Conciliators®.

Background - Jim

I have over 40 years experience as an entrepreneur and business manager. I attended the UCLA Business School with an emphasis in marketing and accounting. Among my various business activities I have launched and managed businesses involved in property management, PC computing and graphic arts, printing, manufacturing, distribution, and Christian book publishing. In between I developed and marketed a 1100 acre residential development.

My avocational experience includes three years leading Promise Keepers in East Texas and 20 years leading and facilitating small group bible studies.

Background - Dana

I have 16 years experience with IBM, 8 in management. I followed that with 14 years in real estate the last 10 as owner/broker of my own firm. I graduated summa-cum-laude from University of Texas at Dallas in Business Administration. I have been active in the business community serving as the President of the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors®.

In the church I served with my husband as co-leader of adult ministries at South Coast Community Church and later led women’s ministry at Grace Community Church.

Our history:

We have been married 21 years. We have four children and six grandchildren aged nine to eighteen. We have lived in the Tyler, Texas area for 18 years and attend Sylvania Church. We have both experienced the trauma of earlier divorces so we can offer firsthand assurance of God’s grace and full redemption.
